  • Committed to integrity, transparency, and responsive leadership
  • Prioritize input from Berkeley Lake residents in addressing wildlife concerns—especially deer management—through collaboration with Georgia DNR and neighboring municipalities
  • Improve city processes—citations, planning, zoning—with common-sense policies that protect the environment and serve residents
  • Promote transparency through a full review of city operations, including financial oversight
  • Support traffic safety measures, security technology, and pedestrian infrastructure
  • Partner with the Berkeley Lake Homeowners Association to preserve and enhance lake health

  • I graduated from Mercer University with a Business Degree.
  • Married for 43 years to Sheri Dahlstrom, have two married children and four grandchildren.
  • Member of Perimeter Church.
  • My career and passion existed in the outdoor industry business for 43 years. We represented multiple key manufacturers in the fishing, hunting, and law enforcement product arena for the 10 southeastern states.
  • President/Managing Partner of a 12-man sales organization with sales exceeding $40 million in annual sales.
  • As an avid hunter since the age of 15, I learned crucial skills and ethics regarding animal behavior, feeding patterns, reproductive cycles, habitat management, along with a deep appreciation and understanding of nature.
  • I have been blessed to hunt in dozens of States in the US, Cananda, Argen􀆟na, Africa, & Mexico.
  • I am ongoingly involved in helping manage my friend’s 15,000-acre planta􀆟on for 20 + years in Meriwether County, Georgia collaborating with the plantation manager on premise, and a biologist to assist in managing wildlife.
  • I have proudly been a resident in the city of Berkeley Lake for 11 years, represented the River District HOA board for five years, was elected president for two of those years.

I’ve been very fortunate to have a good financial education and background and now I work to help the community with financial management and strategic planning for various non-profit organizations. That’s largely why I decided to run for City Council. I am happy to serve the residents of Berkeley Lake in any way that I can.

I recently retired and would like to contribute my time and talents to Keep Berkeley Lake Great. We are facing many changes going forward that will require innovative approaches to complex issues and the ability to work across multiple agencies.

My wife LeAnne and I have lived in Berkeley Lake for 24 years. For the last 12 of those years, I’ve been honored to serve on the Berkeley Lake City Council. I humbly ask for your continued support in the upcoming election.
