A recent survey of Peachtree Corners (PTC), Georgia, residents indicates that deer densities within the city have surpassed acceptable levels. A deer survey was conducted to collect population parameters and inform development of management goals. Camera and road surveys were conducted within a 2,000-acre area from 8 August 2025 to 19 September 2025. Densities were estimated to be 193 deer/mi2 based on camera surveys. Substantial browsing damage of residential landscaping was observed, and understory vegetation appeared largely absent in forested areas.
